Discover Varanasi
Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, is a melting pot of culture, spirituality, and history. From the ghats of the Ganges to the bustling markets and ancient temples, there is always something to explore.

Banarasi Saree
The Banarasi saree, originating from Varanasi (also known as Banaras), is renowned for its luxury, intricate designs, and luxurious fabrics. The history of Banarasi sarees can be traced back to the Mughal era, around the 14th century, when the art of weaving silk was introduced to the region.
During the Mughal period, weaving brocades with intricate designs using gold and silver threads became a specialty of Banaras. The sarees are known for their gold and silver brocade or zari, fine silk, and opulent embroidery. The designs often feature intricate intertwining floral and foliate motifs, kalga and bel, and a string of upright leaves called jhallar.

Sacred City: Banaras is situated on the River Ganges’ banks and is considered one of the most sacred places in Hinduism. It has been a center of learning, culture, and religion for over 3,000 years.
Oldest Inhabited City: Varanasi is one of the world’s oldest continually inhabited cities. Its ancient name, Kashi, was associated with a kingdom 2,500 years ago.
